It's been a great way to end the year--wrapping up the first draft for AROUND THE WORLD IN 72 DAYS--a bold reimagining of Nellie Bly's famous globe-trotting trip in 1889-1890. She'll visit new destinations like the World's Fair in Paris and the haunted Astor House Hotel in Shanghai, and connect with real historical figures like Ida Wells, Dr. Rukhmabai, Sarah Bernhardt, Susan B. Anthony, Ah Toy and more. Researching and writing about these amazing, complicated and flawed women has made this experience the ultimate "girl's trip" and I look forward to refining it in 2022 for its January 2023 release with Level 4 Press..
